Hahaha thanks. It's a monster with the tires aired down and the lockers on. I need to get some footage on my next adventure.. Some of the stuff I have taken this through has left me looking back and wondering if what I just did was even possible.

My dad had his Yakima mega warrior rack sitting in the garrage so i decided to throw it up there. Not sure if i like the look. I think i like bare roof better

My mom recently bought a 2014 limited 4runner, and its pretty sweet. I like the new 4runners, especially the TRD pro in white. My dad jokingly made a deal that if i could make $30,000 off my cruiser that he would pay for what ever is left over to get me one. That got me thinking...what could i get for my cruiser? I love this thing to death, but there is just something about those space ships that i like. When i get this thing buttoned up and detailed out, i might post it for some crazy price like that to see if i get any bites..

Today was one of those days... I was driving home from school and just dropped my cousin off. I drive a few hundred feet and my engine cuts out and dies. I coast to the side of the road and try and start it. Wont turn over. I pop the hood, and get out to check it out. (did i mention were in the middle of a storm here?) At this point im thinking the worst, hoping my engine didnt just seize up on me. I checked the oil and its full. All fluids full. Fuel gage was reading 1/8th of a tank. Tried to get it going and had no luck. Called my dad and towed it home.

Our thoughts are that i ran the tank too low and the filter sucked up som crap. I will take a better look at it later, but i have had enough for today. Thanks for letting me whine about my problems.

Maybe one of the components that runs off a pulley seized up and that is enough resistance on the belt to stop the crank pulley?

Not sure. Like i said i didnt really check it out because its dumping over here right now.
The more i think about it, the fuel filter or pump seem to be the culprits. I remember going around the corner and feeling it sputter a litte. Thats probably when the crap got sucked up causing the gas flow to stop.

So what was wrong with the engine?

Oh yeah. After installing the new pump, we found that the o2 sensor melted against the exhaust and was poping the fuse..

Replaces the sensor and fuses and it turned right over.

tymanfj40 if your still having the issue with the fan in the shroud check your rear trans mount took me a year to find that's what was wrong with mine. Mine was completely separated. And there are 2 different sizes of them I found out.

All i needed to fix the fan was some new motor mounts. No more nasty noises when in 4low

I'm curious if you plan to incorporate your rear heater with your new console or just delete it?
