finally got the last piece of the puzzle back from the painter

I like to use an acorn nut here to protect it from the elements
not quiet sure what this little piece does exactly but it is factory and suppose to go here
fiber glass cap was taken to linex prior to paint for their treatment to the interior. we did this for insulation and also as an additional moisture barrier so nothing can come in between the visor and the cap.
we used stainless hardware on the entire hardtop and applied a very generous amount of anti sieze. I was really impressed at how well the front doors line up with the body lines and feel excellent shutting and opening. On a negative note the SOR sliding windows look great but do not work with jump seats. We will need to space the jump seats away from the top rail roughly an inch to put them back in. ALSO the damn latch for the sliding window hits the factory roll bar! So at the moment they only open roughly a 1/4 of the way. Would have been nice to know this prior to purchase!
This brings us to the rear doors We made these gaskets for the ambulance door hinges.
There is one small hole in the same spot on each quarter it is from the footman loop that is installed while the soft top is being utilized. The footman loop picks up that hole and an ambulance door captive nut. We simply stuck a small stainless screw and nut into it when we installed the hard top.
new Toyota grommets for the license plate light wires
made a new harness for the factory dome light since the old one was melted and installed it as well.
just got word we have a batch of black powder coated stuff back from the coater so going to get back to it this evening.

Same here Tom I had my roof cap painted when I had the top off three or four years ago but didn't really do anything to the gutter at the time since it was in good shape. I also didn't replace the top perimeter gasket because at the time I was paying full retail for Toyota parts. I had actually purchased one of those cool cruiser gaskets but opted to put the original gasket back instead. Now knowing what I know about these gutters Im anxious to pull the cap back off and do some sort of rust preventative on the gutter portion and reseal the top of the gutter. I wasn't very careful removing my original gasket thinking I was going to replace it so it is torn in two in one of the rear corners. I also have a good amount of water coming in between the hard top visor and the fiberglass cap when I drive in the rain so would like to address that as well.
here is what we got back from the powder coater. As usual I tossed in some of my personal items with tuckers 
things since he is getting such an amazing deal on his powder coating. 
I got some spare frame gussets, 12ht backing plate for my fj60 diesel swap a rear sway bar from an fj62 and some 60 series hub caps and tow hook.
We had to make some brackets for the rear heater to work with the tuffy console and metric tlc seat extension.
since this truck didn't have a factory rear heater installed previously we tried to source some of the long hard lines from cruiser parts. whoever packaged the first set they sent simply tried to roll them up like a piece of rope and they obviously kinked and broke at the all the kinks. So tucker sent them some pictures and a few days later a big box arrived with some fj60 rear heater plumbing
. at this point we gave up on that idea and just used some 1/2 heater hose like the earlier cruisers had. we did put it inside of a nice sleeve for abrasion protection and I also pulled a nice bracket off of my parts fj62 and had it powder coated and installed it to hold the heater hoses to the transmission tunnel.

we also installed these little bumpers on the lower ambulance door to protect the paint when the door is opened all the way.
looks like we will need to modify one bracket to install the rear ladder.

And thanks for all the pics of the various OEM weatherstripping and "packing". I'd wondered how some of those pieces worked out and your pics provide great visuals. I've got all the part numbers gathered up for when I do the disassembly and repaint... this thread will be a great reference to piece it together properly.
I tried to find it specifically mentioned, but couldn't... what color did you paint the wheels? Is that a match to the hardtop and front bezel?

1800 us, is that just for the modfications to the top, or is that including the soft top??

update from work done back during the summer. We made a bracket to make the ladder work with the revised roof rack. Also added 4 and 7 degree castor correction shims to correct the caster. Tucker reported the truck tracked much better after this.

Tucker also installed some led bulbs in the instrumentation illumination and dome light which were much brighter than the oem incadescents.
The 33'' tire was a bit too much for the factory tire carrier and we were having problems with the latch coming undone after welding additional material onto the latch so Tucker made the decision to procure the 4plus tire carrier swing out and 4plus tail light guards.

Had to make two brackets to extend the basket out an inch or so so it would clear the ladder. Here it is finished up.
