Anyone know if it's possible to find this part new?
My 1st stop online was SOR and it's not available. Other usual suspects are blank as well.

I am looking as well. CruiserCorpse didn't have them either.

Probably used only. Classifieds. We needed them for a couple of our recent builds but could not find them. Did not really find much in the Pick N Pull that was easily adaptable either. John

I have not been able to find a set, so what I did was make my own with a couple thick rubber sheets cut to shape and glued. Then a couple holes punched in them then Mount. The trick is the gluing.

That's what I was thinking too. I have to replace/make mine too. Epdm or inner tube and vulcanizing cement might work nicely.

I'd probably run down to Space Age on Country Club and see whether they have something similar . . .

That belongs in the "best quick cheap mods" thread. Nice idea. He's a bicycle mechanic so naturally he found an Occam's razor solution.

Not all members live in the USA where you have all kind of nice shops. Like me for example. I live in Costa Rica.
So sometimes you have to deal with home made solutions.

I plan to use a 1/4" thick piece of rubber cut to shape with a cut all the way around the circumference so it gets captured by the sheet metal. Did this for a couple other grommets and it works great.

Hope that made sense..

you should make some extra .... and you'll make some extra $$ for you

Lol, hey if there's actually interest i might.... But its a five minute job that anyone who has a pair of sissors and a knife can manage.

Great solution, Cliff. Great timing for me as well, since I'm redoing my lines.

Did you glue the halves back together? If so, what kind of adhesive did you use?

No adhesive. Just compression mashed together. The slot width of the grommet is bigger too so it really squeezes it all together.

Yeah the shipping promotion was a nice surprise
