Toyota corporate has been running 15 off deals periodically and the South East Region has been pretty proactive on flash sale deals behind the national events past 120 days- (at participating dealers)

Not much if any notice- just have to keep an eye out for sales and post up when they happen

McGeorge almost always has discounts from MSRP. I do think PartSouq has better pricing overall that I’ve noticed.

Parts arrived ;)

The southern Toyota dealer discount events like the one in this thread is like 20% on top of the ~35% discount McGeorge usually has, so in totally it's almost 50% off MSRP 😍 If I understand correctly.

Sounds like a good time for some control arms

Shelf: Has to be a risk w/r to defect discovered after return period ends...no?
Sure is. But I just watched a good friend of mine wait 8 months for a Toyota rack and pinion for his Tundra. I know I have one due here pretty quick so I will have one on standby just incase. Wish I could have gotten my order to work...

RockAuto has some wholesale discounts going on right now. Seems like really good prices for things like bulbs, brakes, suspensions system, coolant system, etc..

^^^ stay with OEm as far as you can. Anytime I throw a non-OEM part, I had to get an OEM replacement in less than a few months. Money is getting wasted. I got Koito Made in Japan bulbs from partsOUQ and those are good for another 10+ years.

^ x2, most stuff I’ve replaced on my older toyos was aftermarket junk. 4R had lowers that always made noise, axles went to s*** in 2 years 15k and I don’t off-road, bad coil pack on LC was newer after market. If it lasted 20 years, why switch.

I ordered before this sale
But I got a OEM Tundra rack & pinion in less than a week 😎

Anyone have a lead on the next similar event? Need a complete master brake assembly.

Go where you like. I like Decatur. Why, he'll (Eric) show more parts available and repack. Goo back to the thread of last years sale. You find many how used other than Decatur, complain about damage FDS. FDS from any other Toyota Dealership, will be damaged in shipping.

I've tried some of those others in the past. The minute I ask they repack FDS (aka CV) or other parts, they CXL the order, saying out of stock (Laziness is what that is).

Eric at Decatur Toyota (as I stated) and anyone that has ordered from him knows, he repacks. Not only does he repack, he the best at it. You'll find may parts at these others say "not available" that are at Decatur Toyota. Why, they know unless repacked, they will be damaged.

These Toyota web pages are all near useless, for part numbers. They are all from Toyota, not the Dealerships. Although adding your VIN # to order, does insure the part will be correct when shipped.

I use www.Partsouq.com for part numbers, not these Toyota web pages!

I ordered my FDS axles in seperate orders. First from McGeorge. The metal shield on the wheel side was bent. Ordered the second one from Decatur last time they had their sale and it arrived VERY well packaged. I am about to order a condenser and likely will only order from Decatur. Bummed I missed the sale.

Got 20% off MSRP at Decatur Toyota for complete master brake assembly today. Not sure if this is regular pricing for them or a special.
