Update: I can answer my own question. I doused it with penetrating oil, let it soak for half an hour, and gave the handle some torque; it started going higher.

Here’s a 09111-60050 at full extension:

what year is this one out of? I have a similar unit that I purchased. Its base does not fit anything on page 1 of this thread.

I wonder why this thread never came up on my results when I searched exactly for "Toyota jacks?" Does anyone know what the 09110-13010 jack went with? It bears no TEQ logo, just STO. I picked one up the other day for $20. At .7 ton, looks like it will just see some use in my shop. Thanks!

Jack Reference - Version 2

The updated Jack Reference is posted on Dropbox and available for download.

Version 2 includes many new photos and additional information about early (1958-84) Land Cruiser jacks. Jack service dates for some 09110-35011 jack variants and other jacks have been revised to reflect new information learned from review of manufacture dates stamped on the jacks.

Special thanks to treerootCO for his outstanding help and support for this project, and willingness to share research information and photographs. As a result, version 2 of the Jack Reference represents a significant improvement over the initial version.

This continues to be a work in progress, please respond with comments, corrections, and suggestions for improvements. Especially interested in your photos of Toyota cast iron jacks that are not included or identified in the updated reference. Please post comments/photos or send a PM.

Amazing research! The link to version 2 doesn't work. How might I access the document? Im trying to find out what bottle jack and jack rods/handle I am looking for, for my 1970 FJ40. Im a long time vw restorer, but new to Land Cruisers. Thanks for any assistance.

I am looking for the crank handle and jack for my 1982 FJ45 , couldn’t find a part # for the handle , been looking all over and I can only find the straight hook extension but not the one that got the crank style like in the next picture if somebody can help me that would be great

The handle in your picture is the spare tire lowering crank. The jack handle is two pieces that are much smaller diameter.

Looking for a decal for our jack restoration. Does anyone offer a replica of the Toyota bottle jack decal for the 09110-35011?
Thanks.

I did not know that. That is what I like about this forum there is so much useful information from folks that are willing to share.
Thank you!

Trying to get information on the OEM jack for my 1983 Troopy. Number is 09110-60020. Looks like it only came in 08/1980+ BJ45, FJ45, and HJ47 Land Cruisers. Given the relatively tall stance of the Troopy, I'm guessing it extends higher than the 40 series jacks of that time period: 09110-60010 and -60040. Unfortunately the original tools are almost always long gone on older vehicles in Saudi so not sure I can find one here. There are only two mentions of 09110-60020 on mud and neither has any definitive information or photos.

@cruiserdan does that Australian Troopy have the original jack? I looked through the restoration thread again and didn't see the jack anywhere.

Or maybe @boozewz, does your '82 Troopy have the original jack? Looks like @sloanstavern '82 Saudi Troopy didn't have the original jack either but just in case he has additional information.

Sorry WDE - My bus was empty and I just found a "period similar" unit to fill the hole

Doing some research (what I do on Sundays) I found a 4L,4G, and 5I with the decal still in place. I can confirm that the decal is the same as the Hilux. The sticker is orientated so that it faces the crank. Shane has reproductions of the '77-'78 decals. Now all we need is to find a good 72-76 one and see if Shane can make those for us.

May of 1976 FJ40 with original jack marked 5I

Do you have any info on who makes / where to source the foil decals?
