Pretty good but not my favorite from them, but it is going against 10 FIDY so...

I'd have to try that ... if just for the name ;)

Went by Craft Beer Guys in Huntersville today. It may now be my favorite beer store and I am a little upset I didn't go by sooner. Also drove by D9 brewery in Huntersville. I am going to check out there Taproom tomorrow. I will post my thoughts

This was an awesome brew. Thanks Tim :D

Also got this set up for my garage. First keg is Bud Light just to make sure that everything is good to go with the kegerator operation. So far, it seems perfect :D

Nah, it's the camera in my phone. Working on getting a new one.

The fridge find is what kick-started this project for me. College buddy of mine gave it to me for a 12 pack of beer! It came with his house as a second fridge but he never ended up using it. Still not cheap though, at about $300 for all of the supplies, not including the cost of the keg.

Oh yeah... that's why I'm waiting for the perfect old 50-60s style fridge to pop up before I drop those bills on converting

I got tabs on one I just have to push to make it happen

Wish I would have known that. I just gave this away on CL to some scrapper. It still worked. We also had the matching wall oven.

Went to Ass Clown Brewery and D-9 in Huntersville yesterday. Didn't like anything at D9 but they had a new Zealand hopped IPA they were out of.

Ass Clown was great every beer I tried was great, service was great, music was great...... I'll be going back for sure.... Their barrel aged scotch ale is in my top 20 beers for sure.

Got to scratch one major one off of my beer bucket list today.

Heady Topper... the top rated beer on Beer Advocate for 3 years now.

Easily in my top 5.... maybe 3 of all time.

You can smell the pine resin and floral hops right away as well as the grape fruit and about another 50lbs of hops on top of that.

Pours pretty cloudy but smooths out fast.

The can demands that you drink it from the can so I did so before pouring the other 3/4's into a snifter (personally I liked it from the glass but Andrea said from the can was better)

Taste is amazing.... you can taste the huge amount of hops but it is very smooth... its like a fusion of a Stone Ruin-Ten IPA and a Founders all day IPA...... gets a 13 out of 10
