When I drain the t-case, will this also drain the transmission? I'm draining the t-case to repair the parking brake. I want to make sure when I drain the t-case and refill, I don't have to worry about refilling the transmission as well.

Good to go.![]()
each case has it's own fill and drain......MAKE SURE THE FILL IS LOOSE BEFORE DRAINING
Good point, it would be horrible to be stuck with no t-case fluid!
Why not do them both while your under there?
agreed while your getting dirty take 2 extra minutes and do them both
YES! Thank you!
True, guess I better make sure I have enough 90w.
Thanks guys
While you have the smell of gear oil on you, might has well do the axles also. 5 gallon pail will give you plenty of oil.
Oh gosh...the list gets longer and longer!!

Go ahead and invest in a 5 gallon bucket gear oil pump. I got mine for about $50 at Napa. Fooling with the cheapie 1 gallon bottle pumps sucks.
Makes changing gear oil a lot less messy and gear oil is usually available cheapest retail in 5 gallon buckets. I've been able to find $22 5 gallon buckets in rural areas.
This one is available for $25 from Northern Tool. Looks like the same unit I have.
