I think I'm going to do BFG A/Ts because they are a really good all around tire for mostly road, some mud, some rocks and a good bit of snow.

Here's mine SOA on 37" MTRs.........

Really nice cruiser ClemsonCruiser. It looks like a 60 can look good SOA on 35s or 37s.

I got some better pics so I can play now. These are worn out 35s.

Front axle moved forward and the rear axle moved back a couple of inches. Front pack uses a ford ranger rear main (58" long) and other leaves. The rears are 63" 3/4T chevys. Project still underway so no performance reports yet. I have a set of 38s I'll be putting on after it's legal again and of course trimming will be required.

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on your thread. What are you going to do about trimming the rear? No offence but the cruisers that the rear has been trimmed on I think look really bad and just hacked together, hopefully yours will be different. I'm trying to decide about the front. If I do a shackle reversal then I want to move the front forward a couple inches.

Thanks for the challenge, I see if I can come up with something. Definitely much easier to trim the rear of the well then the front, that was my thinking anyways.

Yeah I agree with you there. It will take some time but you could cut out the the contour line right after the back of the door and stretch the flat section so you keep the contour line and everything still flows. Heres a picture I did in paint...I hope its good enough to show what I was thinking, though its nowhere near as good as some I've seen brokenparts do...:flipoff2:

leave my Baby alone havent seen her but once for like 10 mins in 2 months .... cant wait till the hyro done and I can bring her home :grinpimp:I ready to go wheelin

just a question ,ive noticed in some threads that some of you guys havent done the cut and turn (steering nuckles)is it not all that important ??but did you remove the original spring perches from the top and bottom of the diff and rotate them for the pinion angle if so what have you done for the castor angle???.

its just im thinking about doing a soa on my 60 but arent to sure if i really have to do all that cutting and welding ,ive allready got 37"on but i want it higher with some room for the tyres to move.

what i drive

OH.... Guess i better bring it back to round rock on my way to austin this weekend then....:grinpimp:

dont be jealous of my paint skillz. I went the easy way out and just hacked out the area back there and threw some sheetmetal back there... My body is as nice as Boot's so I didnt spend a bunch of time that was eventually going to get dents or get bobbed anyway.

I did not do the cut and turn on mine. The shackle reversal really helps out if you don't do the cut and turn. It reduces bump steer. And I removed all spring perches and put new ones on.

Sweet Rig!!!!

With just wanting to get it on the road and go wheeling I'll probably lean towards hacking. I really don't want to spent too much time either on a part that might get massaged by mother nature. I do have a certain line that I've been maping out in my head, we'll just have to see how well it translates and if it will accomodate the tires. It still needs to look like a wheeler. :hillbilly:

ya, I have 35" BFG All-Terrains, SOA, Stock height springs, and I'm actually not positive on what gears I'm running. I think they're stock, since I doubt my friend I bought it from went as far as changing gears on her. on deciding with the spring over axle. it makes for a hell of a ride.
