Small Screws on Top Side of Rear Fender Well (1 Viewer)

On my '77 there are two sets of two screws (4 mm x 10 mm long). Left side only. They are spaced about 3/4" apart. 11.5" spacing between sets. Square tackwelded nuts on underside. Sorry if pics are poor quality...

What are they?

My jack rod clips are on the right side. They use a 10mm head capscrew. These are phillips head.

USA spec 40’s came without clips and crank rods. Just having the screws there would be normal.

Beware of Mazda and other make crank rods out there that are marketed as Toyota land cruiser
