Ambulance doors on a pre 1/75 will a problem since ambulance doors fit flush. Tailgate and barn doors fit against the outside of the tub. Door strikers on the pre 1/75 are a problem but easier to deal with. The visor on the top used four bolt prior to 1/75. Only two after that. Again not a big problem. The cutouts for the wipers are not there 1/75 since the wipers were on the bottom of the windshield. Mid 65 and earlier had a number of issues and really depends the cruiser.

Guess if your not putting later doors the striker is not a problem. If your are the limiter may require some clearance in the A pillar. Been over forty years since I added 79 doors to my 68 and can't remember for sure. If you not changing doors on the early corrugated tops the door header was different and that wouldn't seal the same.

My 72 came with a 76 hardtop. "They" made it fit and it worked nicely for many years. I like the doors.
