I finally made the hold down brackets, so we opened it up. Easy in and out and no heavy lifting. I sure hope this solves my bad back problem.

Exactly! I'm just worried about doing a face plant, swan dive off the top after hanging with the boys. :) It's been known to happen before.

I just blow out the dirt with an air gun and repeat 😆

When I finally got around to plugging in my battery maintainer after the SSS, the charger kept blowing the GFI. I knew I had a problem, but wasn't sure exactly what. Most of you know I plug in where the reflector used to be and the cord runs to the charger...

What I didn't remember was the plug inside the body panel was laying down in the bottom. After I ran a muck in the swamp hole the rear quarter cavity filled with water (muck). I have drain holes for that reason, but they plugged quickly and I didn't check. I drained a good six inches of the stuff out today and relocated the plug to higher ground.

Pro Tip.... If you run a muck, make sure you check your cavities! 👍

Put a deer I shot in the back of my 4Runner years ago and decided to leave it there until after dinner. Managed to fill that cavity with blood. Lesson learned.

Oh no! How long has that soup been in there? A month?

Yeah, there abouts.
Keep up the submersible routine and you’ll have to install one of those drain plugs like you find on boat transoms. And start carrying navigation charts along with your paper maps. Let Jeri run the sextant.
