I am needing a little help from the communinty.
Long story short; I have an absolutely beautiful FJ45 on my showroom that I have been storing for a good customer for about a 8-months or so.
He bought it at Mecum around April 2024, I belive it was imported from Saudi Arabia in 2023. It apprears to be very clean from all accounts. We added some aftermarket seatbelts to make it street legal as they were missing all together.
I am asking for any information you can tell me on this vehicle because I want to sell it for my customer on consignment, but I don't have enough knowledge to make a listing. Any information would be much appreciated. Once I get enough info to comfortably make a listing, I will post a the Classified section.

Thank you all!

Get rid of the split rims and bias-ply tires. The person who buys this is gonna get an ear full of nonsense, if they take it to a regular tire shop.

Needs license tag bracket and lamp in rear.

The axle inner seals appear leaking. I can see differential oil just below the steering knuckles on the floor. Fix it. No one needs oily brake components.

2F has a 4.2L displacement.

No smog equipment on a 1984 gas engine might pose registration issues for a buyer, and come back on the seller AND HIS AGENTS! Proceed with caution.

Looks like the the windshield is broken, in case you didn't notice that.

this is a very strange posting. Toyota dealership needs help from the internet to sell a Toyota?

What did it sell for at Mecum?

@Grayscale Thank you so much. Much appreciated.

@65swb45 Thank you very much, easier to find that out now than later.

@peesalot Yes, we belive the roof, doors, and roll bars are in the bed. But I have not crated it. I can see the roof for sure. This truck hasn't been cleaned since it's been here, it's due for a scrub.

@cruisermatt Yes, The windsheild is cracked. Being 41-tears old, we don't see these every day, even me, being a 40 series owner, I don't know the nuances of these. This truck is here for storage for the owner and eye candy for our customers, but the owner has since decided to sell.

@ceylonfj40nut Unknown to me.

I apprecaite the comments, if anyone else sees any more concerns or noteworthy observations, I appreciate the feedback.

I would remove the tire from on top of crate. Wood is buckling on pristine roof

Should I uncrate and assemble or leave it alone?
I am concerned on what is missing. Does having it crated add any value? Last time I was at the LCHM they had at least one crated up similar.

I think you need to nail down when it was sold. A FJ45 was sold at the April 2024 mecum auction in Houston, but it doesn't appear to be that one unless some one disassembled and crated the top and rolled back the speedo. I think in its current condition its market is limited. Its a used truck with 33k miles on it, which is cool. It's hard for me to believe folks drove it like that. You may have a larger audience if you get it titled, and pull the band aids off, assemble the top and make it driver.

@pb4ugo That's a great point and easy to do. I am pretty sure it was sold at the Indianapolis Mecum in April 2024.
