Some a$$holes violated my precious over the weekend. Broke the dash in several spots with the ignition, center console, door panels, and tore about every wiring harness along the way....

:censor:

now it's time to piece back together and see what can be saved/ salvaged, guess this way it'll be even more one off.

Got more photos of the wiring carnage you could post up? Was there an expensive head unit in there, high crime area, any male teen neighbors? How did they get into the vehicle??
 
Why the hell would anyone steal the head unit out of an 80? Even if a nice aftermarket one...they arent really that expensive. I :mad: thieves...should be shot on sight. Hope insurance takes care of you!
 
I know abortion is a touchy subject, But What If we did it to people once they've proven their turds...like the tweekers who stole your stereo? Mid Life Abortions! Im just saying, the world would be a little less crowded and a lot more respectful and honest after a few of these were Issued by the states.

When I lived in Philadelphia about twenty years ago, I had a 1970 Duster and wanted a radio besides the stock unit.
I figured I'd put an eight track deck in it...yup, eight track ************! At that time tapes were still readily available at flea markets and there was quite a selection to boot. I figured no crackhead would bother to steal a valueless eight track deck. Well, I was wrong...twice! :mad: The third one I installed had razor blades epoxied to the back of the unit:flipoff2:. For some reason, this one was never taken...the crackheads must have had some weird sixth sense...
I'm sorry you and your Cruiser were violated...totally sucks!!!:frown::frown::frown:
 
Post up which connectors you need. Like what style and where they went.


If its not an insurance claim I'm betting you could source them from some privately parted rigs or from cruiser yard AJAIK and others on here. I may even have a few pigtails here for you.

Technically speaking, what is described above happens to be a burglary, not a robbery. Anyway, still totally sucks! :bang:

I heard an interview with Quentin where he confirmed it was Bruce Willis' character that keyed Vincent's car.
 
I guess they couldn't read the sticker that says "radio will not work if removed from vehicle"
