The fuel filter bracket is in the right spot, but it's upside-down.

Thanks jim, I bolted it in before checking the parts diagram so I didn't lose it again.

Posted this pic awhile back but it pertains to clutch install

resurfaced flywheel and new pilot bearing.

Battery tray and hold down arrived from @beno today.

Clutch/Tranny/Transfer case are installed.

It looks like the rear crossmember is going to interfere with the parking brake drum. I will get the parts to complete the brake and see if I can drop the rear of the transfer to install. If not I am going to rotate the tube to clear.

We are 2 months until bow season. I need to get as much done to the 40 before my other addiction sets in.

Season is right around the corner...Do you use your TLC for hunting duty??

Chungas, I have never driven my 40 and have ridden in one for about 15 minutes. I have alot of time in my dad's 60.

The hunting around here is pretty close to parking. I hunt alot of suburban deer and am rarely more than 1/2 a mile from my truck in a driveway. I have access to about 3500 acres on one property and then I have a 10 acre lot that holds deer until the leaves fall, and a new 50 acre farm that looks promising. With 3 kids, I don't get alot of time to scout. I've had great success on same day sits(no scouting).

I had some parts repaired at our local fab shop. This is a picture of Frank beside his 1941 Cincinnati press brake. Frank fought in Asia during WWII and is turning 92 next month.

Thanks to Frank, I was able to salvage a splash guard that had the tabs ripped off. I am waiting on a box from Mark Algazy and then I will be able to take my engine compartment pieces to the powder coater.
