I found a flap disc in the bottom of the grinder bag and spent a few minutes on the rocker. Close but still needs a little more. The passenger side looks alot happier now.

Most Ohioans are ready to be out of Ohio by Feb.

You know, now that you mention it, one of my musician friends seems to migrate out of Ohio about that time every year. I don't know if you're in to folk music, but here's her website: meganbeemusic.com

Now that's what I call a rabbit hole!

I believe it goes under the inner rocker out to meet up with the outer rocker. That was probably the most complex joint on the vehicle. I used a sawzall and a cutoff wheel all over that area, cut it all out and gound it smooth.

Thanks a ton.

Luckily I didn't need to save my inner rocker panel. If I had to pull all that out without damaging the inner......well....I don't know.

Went exploring this afternoon. The floor follows the cab support along the face of the a pillar. The a pillar has a flange that goes under the floor at the inner rocker and over the floor at the cowl floor. It doesn't look like the floor pan will need to be trimmed at the piller.

Everything but the floor was solid at the a pillar. It was relatively easy once I got after it. The toolbox was a pain in the neck to remove because I couldn't see any of the spot welds or fit anything in to expose them. I used my grinder, a cold chisel and hammer and a pry bar to work the spot welds.

I'm going to have to make the triangle gussets as they are pretty roached.

Do you just need the 2 for the drivers side?

They don't have the little offset along the top but I have a couple I'll toss in a package heading your way, if you need them.
