Still got to build a bracket for the proportioning valve but it is getting there.

Cheers

@SNLC I just got mine rebuilt by them, glad I saw this, now that I think about it I don't recall seeing the seal either, better check when I get home

Yep mine was missing also, ugh, had my box installed back in the truck with the pitman arm on and torqued, I hope it will come off without too much hassle. What kind of puller works the best on these?

Also I looked up the part # of 9031136005, which is one digit off from the one @SNLC provided, just going to order both to be safe.

@Loober that sucks man. They used to be the go to for steering boxes. I guess times change.

Use a pitman arm puller. Also if you didn’t use antisieze on the splines, put some on this time.

Cheers

Unable to find the correct throw out bearing, one was assembled to suit the flywheel swap.

The 05 is the right seal, I think. The 04 is for a non-power steering box.

Yes, please share the part #. Yes what is the length from fork contact surface to the clutch side of the bearing?

Cheers

Hi there, from fork contact surface to the clutch side of the bearing is 46.2mm. P/N on box is 58TKB35003AR ENSS 812 no sure if it's true to label tho, here's some photos

From my measurements that is the same length as the stock 1PZ t/o bearing.

Don’t you need to make up the difference in thickness between the single mass and duel mass flywheels?

Cheers

Yes you are correct, unsure of the measurements as it's installed now😞 but going as good as new, I'll make some enquiries this end and get back to you, Cheers

The flywheel I have installed is 51.5mm from back of crank to friction surface - this is info from my clutch guy over the phone,
he also cautioned against the use of a 1hz flywheel because of the ring gear location and meshing with the SM, apparently its further back on the 1PZ than the 1HZ. Hope this helps :)

So what flywheel are you using then if not a 1HZ? Looks like a 1HZ in your pics.

Cheers

Its locally manufactured specifically for the 1PZ.
The OD ring gear tooth to tooth measurement is 356 mm.
Ring gear axial location starts 9mm from back of crank.
How doe this compare to yours?

I will let ya know!

As mentioned earlier in the thread, I sourced all my parts from a thread on an Aussie forum where the guy who did it have all the details including the part number for the throw out bearing. I bought that bearing, I believe it is from a Coaster bus. It is the same length as a 1HDT H151 but obviously has a larger ID than a R151. It is also the same as an OEM t/o bearing I have for a 1HDT h151. It is longer than a t/o bearing I have for a 1FZ h151. I also have the old t/o bearing from the 1PZ as well as a new OEM one from a 2007+ HZJ76 with the R151, it is a touch longer than the 1PZ one. I have taken a rough measurement and came up with needing to be 5mm longer than the 1PZ one.

I will do some measuring tomorrow and see what I come up with. Thanks for the numbers and help.

Cheers

Just a thought, if you put a 1mm washer under the release fork ball with the increase in moment you may have your 5mm.. no, on second thoughts there will be almost no increase, due to no moment increase, alternatively you could have another machined up providing there is enough clearance in the bell housing.

The IP look great, looking forward to the results.

Honestly I think I had-have the t/o bearing worked out. The picture I posted of the t/o bearing above is about 7mm longer than the 1PZ one, has the right ID and is OEM.

Then you came along! So now I am going to check numbers. ;)

Cheers
