Click that link up there and buy it my man.....

Im almost positive that link would simultaneously trigger a retainer deposit to the local divorce attorney on behave of my wife.

Ahh, the truck and the thread that started my path into the cruiser world. GLWS Nolen and as always thanks for the help and inspiration.

You have not done anything insane (that I have seen) in the last 30 days or so.

Get in there....

Background insanity. Wrote JP a very large check. Sent the Lobster off for the winter and some upgrades. Patina purchase would get me admitted to the asylum.

Hot damn, I wasn’t expecting to see this one up for sale!!! Good luck, enjoy the next one!

This is FAKE NEWS.

I hope to see another 40 build Nolans.

If I can find a good candidate I’ll snatch it up but it’s hard to make any money on them when people want $10,000 for a starter worth $1000

100% for certain that won’t be happening unless someone comes along and buys my farm answer I can be close to some trails

I figured it out. Going to sell patina buy PFE and get a place out west once the dust settles next year. You could do a subscription service to your build threads, see behind the scenes pics or part numbers. We would need some type of card processor to cover up the charges from the Mrs. “You paid to see someone build a landcruiser” yea right what’s her name.

Good luck with selling. BAT does a good job of bringing quality buyers and sellers to there site.

Damn. I always said I’d buy this one when for sale, not sure if the timing is right....

GLWA Nolan. This has been a really fun journey to follow. I always enjoy your builds/ restorations.

Certainly not just casting this one aside. I just have too many old things around here and I’m obsessive about driving them and keeping them all in top shape. That takes a lot of effort with 7 Cruisers.

After a long and lovely rebirth together, it’s come time to share this wonderful story with someone else.

I hope anyone that reads this thread with interest in this fantastic FJ40 gets to this post and sees what a lovely and unique Fj40 Project Patina is.

Nothing has been edited here. No posts changed. All that has been done to this truck can be found in great detail right here.

Please pass the link around to your friends for me. I’m stepping out with a no reserve auction hoping more normal folks will get involved in the bidding for this great one.
I love this Cruiser. It's just so special. Bringatrailer is the perfect auction site for such a rare piece of patina and mechanical upgrades. I wish I had the means to be the next custodian. Good luck with the auction!

Nolan, I just want to take a moment to thank you for this wonderful thread. It's just been a beautiful source of information , inspiration, and exquisite photos of your patina cruiser. I will miss the updates; but, I know this thread, obviously will outlast the custonianship of your rare vehicle. I've used all of your preservation techniques on mine (54 harvester pick up)And, of course I own a land cruiser (100 series) .. But - I truly appreciate your passion for the preservation of the story. No matter the vehicle, they all have one.

Thats an awesome truck. Thanks for the shout out

Really wish I had the finances to have made Patina my own. Is the new owner here on 'MUD?

Oh it’s not over by a long shot... the new owner is going to take this beautiful truck and keep it going.

I’ll start the process of removing the soft top today and getting the hard top on then one last coat of fluid film before Project Patina heads to Ontario
