was just looking at your tire carrier thread. You do some amazing work. Have a question for you.
What size rear bench did you order and how is it installed?

Can you post up pics. I want to get an idea of what kind of room there will be back there.

Thanks

I'll get some pics of it installed. I used the mounts that came w/ it and welded them to a piece of 1.5" flat bar and created a small, flat frame that fit between my grooves in my floor. I tied it in w/ grade 8 bolts and reinforced it from the underside. I'm not sure of the size, I'll have to look.

And to update my thread w/ some current pictures:

SEXY!

Where'd you get the resto parts for the winch? Direct from Warn?

I got one of these that needs the same treatment.

Rig looks awesome man. Congrats.

Thanks Ed. I bought the parts from:
Dealers Truck Equipment
Little Rock, AR
501-568-9000

I called several different Warn authorized replacement parts dealers and they beat everyone's price by quite a bit. They were also very helpful to deal with and I'd highly recommmend them. I bought the new motor from dbelectrical and am happy with it. I know at least 1 other person on mud that has used this motor and has no issues.

wow!!! 8274 looks so nice!!

Thanks a bunch. I need to start working on my hardtop now. :frown:

holy bling batman! that thing looks brand freaking new, right down to the stickers even!!!:eek::eek::eek:

OK, fess up! You actually went back in time and brought one back from the past, right?!?! Dude, that is so very awesome!!!

Thanks for the comments! I did find out thru Warn via the date code on the upper housing that this is a 1976 unit. Not bad for 34 years old!

Nick ~ nice rig!

Thanks a bunch!

This has been one my favourite build threads. You ended up with a great truck! Great job!

I'm glad you enjoy it. Its fun looking back at the progress through the build thread.

Great job on your forty! Still trying to figure out how you were able to get ir done so quickly.

Like Trent said, the :princess: didn't mind me being out in the garage! That and the 24/48 schedule with Kelly Days help a bunch too!

A loving wife:princess:
You sir are a very smart man!!!!

can you post some pics on how did you mount the seat belts. I have the same seat and was thinking on those seat belts
thanks for the help.

Sure, I'll post up some pics on how I did it.

A little update:

I got the 8274 sitting on the rig now attached to my custom bumper. I put 100' of 3/8 Amsteel Blue winchline w/ a Viking Offroad Safety Thimble on the end. I also used a Viking Offroad Hause fairlead for my synthetic winchline.

I added a little "customization" to my rear swing out. I had made my tire carrier with a reciever in the middle of it so I could add what ever I thought would be useful. This is the first of my "plug and play" attachments!
