What ever became of the alley spot you were gonna clean and rent?

The guy who owns the alley spot is a bit of a recluse... haven’t had a chance to bump into him since the rona hit and I’m hoping to get a bigger place and head back across to virginia as a better medium/long term plan.

Back to jacking... it looks like the factory jack isn’t even long enough if using the recommended jack point from the owner’s manual. I definitely felt like I needed more wood so it would be long enough for all the jacking I was doing before Chris showed up.

@Crusha also to further explain my logic, I wanted to keep the IFS free as I was inspecting for any loose bolts and with the RCI skid I think the front jack point is covered up. Happy to hear thoughts on this. @landwagon as well.

I do use my fro t skid plate as a jack point all the time. I do use a board to help distribute the weight.

Replaced the water pump on the old 60. 33 years and 187k miles on the factory one. Not too bad. Also threw on some new belts.

Bugged out for two days to the New Mexico mountains for some 4 wheelin, camping, and shooting. The 40 ran great across the 48 miles of open desert to the mountains. Good times!
