6H9 - Greyish Olive. Not a factory 40 color, but I believe it was on the 60's.

After regettably parting with both of these in the above quote, I went through withdrawal, and just picked up this, a '65 FST.

Even the seat backs have a green cast.

My truck is back from the vinyl wrap. Now to add the military bling. A brush guard, black out lights, fog lights, jerry can, shovel/axe mount, antennas, stencil numbers, snorkel, and a vertical stack exhaust are all planned. I also have an OD green soft top for next spring and a couple extra windshields to fab a split Xingu-style windshield for summer use like in the last picture. A good pandemic project.

mine is a 1980 fj40 that i've owned for the last 19 yrs.....the green color i used is army drab by eastwood.....the easiest pain .to used i have ever seen....easy to correct if scratched or damaged in some way. the post by T eakins by the way is superb...like the overall looks.
