Here's mine!

mid-1964 FJ40 FST was an Ohio duck hunting truck. Now running in Los Angeles!

Seth, great idea. Also, just read your thread on the above. Great story. And definitely understand the MVS syndrome. I’m on 16 acres in central TX and running out of room to store the bodies. Key is my wife does not want to see them from the house and our neighborhood association would be all over my ass if they knew what was hidden just out of view from the street :). Im on a plane and the WiFi is not strong enough. Will post a pic of my patina truck when I land.

I'll wash it and clean it up a bit, but doubt its going to get a paint job anytime soon. I can probably tell the story of all the scratches and dents on this Forty. Dad was passing a truck in the Andes(1976/'77) when he bumped the passenger rear panel against the mountain side, sister was trying to figure out the heater when she jumped the curb and crashed through a tree (dented fender '98), bumperette was dented when using a high lift back in the day(2001) and brother was leaving a party in high school and crumpled the driver side fender on a light pole cable(2004). I'm sure there's more to come too, just part of the fun and enjoyment of these things.

Nice rigs!

If only every cruiser could live to ripe old age and only suffer aesthetic damage...

(I’m just jealous... if mine wasn’t a rattle canned, bondo’d, bathtub caulked, holey, rusty, rear quarters replaced at least twice already, pile of a truck when I got it, it wouldn’t have been anything at all!..)

Yours is one of the reasons I’m considering going back to stock height with smaller tires. Looks great!

It drives so good. It’s my first of many many that is set up like a new one would have been. New motor. Small tires. Steers and drives great. I had it going 90mph the other day :)

And my crown Jewel. I’m the third owner of this 1967 FJ45 that lived in Arizona under one owner for 47 years. My friend Tom got it and entrusted me with it in December.

Does this count? Just kidding!! @ginmtb - you need to represent your killer patina red. Some really cool patina’s on this thread.
