You guys are dead on. Amazing prices.
Great from a price standpoint and terrible from a community standpoint. Also, lots of peeps these day really don’t actually want to wheel or do anything tough. They want to appear like they do. Normal america bs.

Been looking at 100’s for a new daily, any NC mudders have feedback on this one?

Drove it today, has AHC removed but didn’t change front springs so has some rake (would likely be doing a 2" lift and 33's at some point soon), timing belt overdue, and has the below under the rear hatch lip. Undercarriage was clean, drove quiet and smooth otherwise.

I’m finding 06-07 100’s with similar miles in the 19-22k range, often a multi-hour drive or flight away and wouldn’t like committing deposit or purchase sight-unseen, so like that this one is close but obviously has a couple issues. I’ve had a 100 before (2000 with 320k, was a poorly maintained basket case) and am well aware that maintenance history really matters.

I walked but threw out $15k loose offer, they called me later saying they’d sell at 15. Deal at that price or pay up for a better one? Budget 20k.

I'd walk. That rust in the lift gate is quite common on rust belt trucks, but there's likely a lot more than that. Check the front skid, gas tank skid and all the frame bits from the rear axle back. I had one that looked just like this one and I dumped it after a couple of years. Got tired of breaking bolts on rusty crap underneath. I honestly don't feel like you'll have to pay up for a better one either. Just keep looking. There are nicer ones out there for equal or less money. I am seeing more and more of them lately due to gas prices.

What's odd is the undercarriage on this one looked pretty good, some surface but nothing on par with that liftgate which was odd. But I did get a sense of poor/budget maintenance history which bit me on the last 100 I had. That has me leaning towards walking.

I've found a couple of 2-owner dealer maintained 200k rigs in the $20k range, but out of state and don't have the time to make those trips especially if I walk away. Could do LC or LX but really wanting an 06-07.

‘06-‘07 are harder to find, yes, but the fact that AHC was deleted and the puny LX torsion bars were retained tells me that whoever worked on that one did not know what they were doing. No telling what other horrors you’ll find. Add rust, no recent timing belt, sketchy service history…just walk. You can do better.

You Just missed a super clean 05 with 136 and fresh timing belt/WP for 23 obo. South of CLT. I don’t need but was def tempted.

There was a super nice late model at gso CC today and I forgot to go back that way for digits. I’ll try and see if it’s there tomorrow for you.

Trying to get in an 06-07 sub 200k and no rust/great history, seeing those listed 18-20k in the southeast at the moment.
Mine fits all your requirements. PM if you are interested. I have thought about selling it in the past but it hasn't been listed
