It was rocky as hell we were on a river bed with a bunch of rocks. How rocky is that ground Del?? The ground at my house is rocky as hell and i've not really been looking forward to driving posts down for the new fence but a power driver may work.

I'm sorry to hear of the injury and the labor problem. Have you also posted this in the Upstate Cruisers clubhouse? They're a lot more local to Highlands, NC, than we are.Hey guys, throwing up a Hail Mary here. We live in Charleston and my in-laws live in highlands. We have been trying to get someone to build a handicap ramp but so far we have been ghosted by 3 different contractors after accepting their quotes. My FIL broke his hip and is permanently in a wheelchair now living with us.
Do y’all know of any contractors or are yall contractors who could come out and build us a ramp? Thanks in advanced guys.
For clarification, we need it in built in highlands.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll remember that for next time. Surprisingly we just got a picture from a neighbor on the street of a very nice completed ramp. We still aren’t sure which contractor built it, but I’m sure they’ll bill us. Funny that we’ve been trying to contact them for 2 weeks and the day I make a post here it’s miraculously built!I'm sorry to hear of the injury and the labor problem. Nice may need to try it outThat machine is the only way those posts were going to go in the ground. In some places it didn’t even work due to the rocks.
I’m sure you can rent it from an equipment rental company. Or maybe even Home Depot.Nice may need to try it out
Thanks for that infoI’m sure you can rent it from an equipment rental company. Or maybe even Home Depot.
Just keep in mind.
We had two versions. A lighter one that didn’t really work on the rocky terrain we were working with.
The yellow one I was dragging around was a heavy sucker. Over 100 pounds but it got the job done.
I know you are a big guy but I def recommend you having at least one more person help you if you plan to use the heavier one.
It can get squirrelly when lifting it above your head and trying to place it on the post.
I sent my 60 belts off to seatbelt planet, and I think I sent the one in Sarah’s 80 too. I had good experiences with both.Where is the best place (thinking most affordable!) to get OEM 80-Series belt molding? I'm looking for front door R and L sides. I have no idea where I got some many years ago for my green 80 but it was a lot less expensive than the dealer, even with our local discount.
Also, does anybody have any recent experience sending off their seat belts to get restrapped? My contacts for that are many years old.
Also looking for a good source for fender flare gaskets for a 1996 White LX450...preferably not black.
Amayama has good prices, their shipping fees are not crazy, delivery takes a few days but it is not too bad. I have ordered several times and have never experienced any problems.Where is the best place (thinking most affordable!) to get OEM 80-Series belt molding? I'm looking for front door R and L sides. That's tough one. Maybe @jfz80 has a lead from his travels?Hey guys, I already asked in the upstate sc thread but do yall know of a good shop for a PPI on an 80 over in the cashiers area? Thanks in advance and enjoy the holiday!
I think trollholes will be too far for this.
For fender flare gaskets I ordered a roll of generic stuff and cut to length, exact same thing that Summit Cruisers sells as a kit but way cheaper. I can't find it now but I think it might have been just from amazon.Where is the best place (thinking most affordable!) to get OEM 80-Series belt molding? I'm looking for front door R and L sides.
