These would be killer on an 80.

A customers 80 we did 35s on the Icon Alloy Alphas which looks pretty good. His FTE converted 80 also has slinky stage 5 icon suspension kit with bypasses all round.

Anymore details or photos of that 80 mate? like lift height and such

Its our stage 5 slinky long travel kit so it has 3" lift slinky coils with bypass 12" 2.5 piggyback shocks, sway bar extensions and spacers, longer brake lines etc, with 35" MTRs on 17 x 8.5 Icon Alpha alloys with a Slee rear bar and modded ARB front bar to fit e Warn Highmount winch.

The engine has been changed to a 1HDFTE with Safari Armax tuning device and bigger exhaust so is around 150 rw kw and 700 rw nm.

About 2/3 or 3/4 of full flex/stuff checking clearances. I might be able to remove 1" bumpstop from front and rear compared to what I was running with the 39.5" Iroks pre fender trimming. This is after the fender trimming with 42s

Good lord man. What axles are you running? I've seen a lot of 80s around town, but I think I would have noticed this one.

'93 with ironman 6" with metal tech and homebuild spacers up front, 2" body lift, 1.5" wheel spacers, on xml's. 5.29's on the way...

Wish I could see the photo

37 x 12.5 17 MTRs on Method double standards. Bit of rubbing, really need to go to 4" backspace ideally.

3" slinky long travel lift stage 5 with bypasses all round.

I probably should of pumped the tyres up to road pressure instead of wheeling pressure first, but what the hell.....

flat 37s flattened its ears a bit, normally goes to 225 kph, but only got 185 today [115 mph aprox]

What bump stops are you running up front to stop those 37"s from chewing up those flares?

Still loving those 37s. Still want to regear. Finally got the wife on board. 2.5ome lift and small dpacer up front

Wow... looks tall for a 3.5" lift.
What are the rest of the specs?
Size of tires, wheels, BS, shocks, bump stops, body lift etc.

Your fenders must be cut because there is a lot of space from tire to fender lip. The gap looks similar to mine with 5" springs and 35's. I want 37's btw. I can't help myself when this thread gets a bump. :bounce:

@baldilocks are we going to see you post up next with a set of 37"s?

I did cut the front fenders little. I have the ome mediums in front with 30mm spacer and heavies in the rear. I load the truck with 4 kids and camping gear. I have yet to swap shocks yet so still stock shocks in back and stock length shocks in front.

Oh and stock bump stops. Tires are 37x13.50 17 bias ply iroks. Wheels I think are either 17x9 or 17x10 with 4 or 4.5" back space. I'm not even sure. I traded my 40s from my rock crawler for these wheels and tires

Still trying to sell my nearly new 35's. I guess I will have to wait and let the market decide what they are worth. On a positive note, the value of most things miraculously increases right after April 15. :D
