Tailgate Party in my garage today..
But not the tailgate party I was hoping for. I had a wicked dent in the upper section of the tailgate which affected the ridges and the valleys so it needed more than just body filler. It was impossible to get to with hammer and dolly so I cut the piece out and straightened it on the bench. After I got it where I wanted, I welded it back in place.
I then worked on getting the hinge screws out of the body. I had two of the six come out with an angle screwdriver but the others needed more torque. I didn't want to drill them so I was lucky by welding a bolt to the head of the screw. I was able to put a wrench on them and spin them out.
