Yeah not really too concerned with absolutely original here. Mostly original is okay. It's never going to be a Concours showpiece. I have another car (pictured) where I worry about all that. Haha!

I was so busy studying the 45 I missed the Ferrari. What model is it?

Haha! Easy to miss. It's a 1994 348 Spider.

She's my 99pt Concours car, and the reason I'm confident in my ability to keep a 50+ yr old truck running as my daily driver :)

@whitey45 what does the early (pre-67 I guess) front license plate frame look like?

@whitey45 did you use the money to buy some shoes?

^^^^. Its true ya know.

But whats the black ferrari? :grinpimp:

Absolutely awesome score there. Such a solid and true working survivor example. I love it.

Haha! Sharp eye. That one is hers, she bought it shortly after we picked up the 348. It's a 2010 California. She makes most of the money while I'm growing my business, so if she wants to buy herself a Ferrari she can buy herself a Ferrari. :D

What can i say? We like cars... (Green Jeep in the background was sold to get the 45)

Sir :) ,
if you think about buying some Ferrari shares I wouldn`t do it now.
My estimate for Ferrari is on hold not on buy at the moment.
It´s not a long time invest.... if it´s necessary it´s gone in a second.
Increased my invest in 2016
+118,59% this package.
Cheers

Congrats on meeting a soul mate that enjoys your automobile passion! The real test/question is will she ride in the truck and pose for photo ops like she does with the big money? :princess::popcorn:

On a different subject great move on selling the heep to buy the 45. Very classy!!! :steer:

Got a package in the mail today from @whitey45 with a really good condition early clutch line!

Was able to get everything temporarily back together with the old slave to at least be able to limp it around until the new slave comes in. I also have a new flexible line on the way so that will be replaced too. At least now I'm able to move it out of the way.

Gray wheels began in mid 1968 except LVs. They always had gray.

LVs were black as well except the very early years 61-63 were I believe body color. We didn’t start getting LVs here until ‘63 and around ‘64 sometime they switched to black like all other 40/45s of the period.

I pulled my spare wheel because I'm getting new tires all around and it's actually grey. I have a Jan '66 build date.

Man. Someone just posted a brochure from 67 and all the wheels were black except the LV. They were grey.

That said, I’m no expert but the 1968 factory brochure scans Treeroot gave me, the wheels were black.

Cool find on the spare. My 1967 LPB is/was 100% original and all 5 wheels were black
