or use a 1fz lid, and 90 elbow. seems like it would flow more air then a 1HD lid and needs the taller stud. I don't have a 1fz lid so my airbox has 2 used shock bushings on it as a temp setup until i decide what I'm going to do with the airbox.

Well. Tomorrow is the big day, I have to extend my alternator harness, and then its an attempt at first start.
micks harness is nice, but its really long and bulky. Its going to be a pain to route and tidy up, I either have a lot living in the engine bay in a roll, or its in the passenger floor board. We'll see how I organize it after we get her running.

I'd rather a harness be a bit too long than a bit too short. Might be worth getting creative with the routing and seeing where you can waste some length.

So I got her going, but we have some kinks to work out.
1. My starter circuit just isn't working, I think it's from the LX450 RS3000 Alarm/Immobilizer. Mick's never really dealt with the LX450 stuff, and I totally forgot to mention it. I'm going to remove the RS3000 tomorrow, and see if that remedies it.
Key switch on -> everything works normally body harness has power, etc.
Key Start -> Dash lights dim, no starter solenoid click or crank.
Key switch on -> Battery+ direct to starter switch/spade and she fires right up.
2. My center difflock is on, which it shouldn't be, I swapped the HDJ100 Center Diff Actuator while it was unlocked, the T-case was also unlocked when parked. This could also be a LX450 oddity, as they automatically engage the T-case when in low. I'll try and get it to disengage tomorrow.
3. Tom Woods DC drive shafts arrive tomorrow, I'll get them thrown on.
4. I have a lot of just general clean up, harness needs to be addressed and routed/secured , interior installed, check for leaks, etc. My exhaust is basically the downpipe from the HDJ100. it works for now, sounds great. LOL. I have an appointment next Thursday for it to get done.
5. Short test drive around the neighborhood.
I will say Mick has been absolutely awesome to work with regarding troubleshooting, we walked through a lot of steps on isolating the issue with the ignition not starting the rig, we spent 2-3 hours between chat, video, etc today working it out. He's also helped me on general FTE stuff not related to the harness, which is just a bonus.

Start circuit/ignition fixed. Removed RS3000 Alarm and she starts from the key. No more jumping the starter from underneath lol.
Now to figure out the center difflock issue.

Avoiding the engine bay for a few, i just need a break from staring at wires lol.. Moved to getting the interior in.
I probably work in a super ADHD way, ill partially finish one task, move to the next partially finish that one, in a viscous cycle until they are all complete.

Also got a new primer/fuel filter assembly, ive heard the diaphragm breaks down inside, and then they can pull in air. Im going to run my old one for about 50-100 miles with the old filter to catch anything from the tank when I was draining, flushing it, etc.

The LCs do this too, I did the "pin 7 mod" which allows you to use low with the center diff lock open (which i love btw). Maybe worth considering doing this, unless it's an unrelated wiring issue.
This is GREAT intel. My 80 also has the antique RS3000 system. Maybe i need to nix it.

I noticed your PDI kit was the crossover delete style - why did you end up going crossover delete? I'm not seeing an option for delete/vs keep in the GTurbo site options, though they show images of both, whereas the actual PDI gives you a dropdown menu

Order from PDI, Gturbo just sends one assuming you have one of their aftermarket turbos, and a cross over delete. This has caused me quite a bit of headache.@Mag71k5 I wanted to come back on this one:

If I wouldve noticed/thought I wouldve made sure it came with crossover piping, and setup for a stock turbo. Something ill just have to remedy in the future.
Ill probably see if @Cruisers and Co can help me with pipework.

Help me feel better about this. Ive got a lot of loom to hide, do cut my glove compartment lid? I hate the thought
You weren't kidding about it being LOOOONG. I'm not sure what I'd do, but it wouldn't be the glovebox. I'd tackle shortening the harness before that, but I'm pretty comfortable with wiring.

Comes from Australia. great harness, I gave the measurements from the firewall to the 1FZ ECU.
