Why not a body swap on to the donor chassis? It's something like a dozen bolts.

Holy Moly, let me just say what a great shop you have, not to mention a couple cool chevys in the back round. So much to talk about here. I don't think the story is done yet, so I'll wait.
Thanks! The 56 belair is a fun car, 63 is awaiting a motor transplant. Stay tuned, trying to get up to current.

I considered it but I had already swapped the 62 axles under the truck and I also just like the wider stance it gives.

Quick and simple bumper build for @Voodoocruisers and @MacDaddyRabbit , may make one for myself.

Trailered the LOUD open header pig to a local muffler shop to quite her down. Tad louder than I wanted but good enough.

I thought “if I’m going to do a 350 swap, better be clean!!” Here is the finished product

This is on the way to help with cooling, it’s fine right now but I don’t wanna be sorry when I get on the trail.

Now we are current to this week! Monday I started addressing the interior. First was make new panels for speakers, 7.5 hours is a long ways to not have a radio.

The front door panels were toast so I cut some 1/4” pine out for temporary panels. I plan on buying some from @a1500ram in the near future. These will do for now. I got some vinyl from a friend. Plan on wrapping them this weekend

Next was some carpet for insulation, mainly from all the racket. I could tell a difference right away

don’t mind the silver flexy hose on the heater box;)

Don’t listen to them brother - had every which stock tractor motor, stock swaps, diesel swaps ... love the growl of a small block. I have broken a lot more stuff, but can spin 35s on dry pavement :grinpimp:
I had a stout 2f but it’s no comparison to the small block. And yes, yes it too will spend the tires on pavement.

Took the whole family out in her tonight for the first time. Pig ran flawless, my speedo cable is to short so I didn’t know how fast I was going. I was cruising at a good smooth speed and checked it with my an app on my phone... 75mph! I’d guess I was running 1800ish rpms, what a dream! :steer::pig: I was wondering why I was passing people on the 4 lane I got her up to 85mph and let out, I’ll do a speed run without the whole fam in my rig
