Tonight’s progress. Managed to get this thing painted and carpeted today with the help of the wife and Briggs, then she braided some real parachord in a cool design for my handle. The chord is from an expired parachute from the air base I work at. Those things have a shelf life and get thrown away once they are bad, pretty neat. View attachment 2448634

I have some carpet left over, I’ll probably put some in the bottom of the drawer to help keep stuff from banging around.

What floor covering are you using for the cargo area?

I have a good friend that is a textile distributor, got it from him. He said it’s the carpet Toyota/Nissan use to form the oem molded carpet. Best part, he’s a cruiser guy himself, I’m sure he’d be glad to pass on a sweet deal to other mud members if they need some carpet on “da low”

Get a BMW. You'll change your tune quickly...
Oh yeah, forgot about that...My brother had a 2007 bmw 335 that I had to help maintain... those things leaked oil from every seal. He actually just traded in his 2019 m5 yesterday on a 2020 gmc Denali.

Probably a good trade, the 2019 was probably ready to start becoming needy...

Winch looks good. Assume the brace behind the bumper is bolted to the frame to push the bumper forward?
Yes, I made the winch mount bolt to the frame, then bumper extensions that bolt into the factory bumper brackets. I believe it pushed the bumper out around 3.5”

Fabbed up some simple brackets for the tent, shot them with some paint and got the tent and awning mounted! These frontrunner bars are sweet! Thanks to @under_psi for the new tall brackets that happen to be on back order on frontrunner’s website.

Enter Shaw’s upholstery... didn’t turn out as good as I hoped but will get me by till I give this pig a full makeover. New speakers, receiver, and all new wiring, sounds good!

Ordered this fan/shroud from Jegs September 9th... after tons of phone calls and dirty emails I finally got my fan yesterday, woke up this morning and installed, had to do a little trimming. Keeps the pig a lot cooler!
