Me and this Toyolet are convoying to the SSS that Thursday morning if anyone wants to meet up in west Alabama. Have extra room if need to stay in Tuscsloosa Wednesday night.

Today’s progress. Worked on a simple drawer system for the pig, still have a few more things I want to do then she’ll be ready for paint and carpet.

Still need to make a handle so I can slide the drawer all the way in and actually be able to pull it back out without a fight (talking from experience..)

Unfortunately while driving on the trails of Shawnee, I and most everyone else behind me notice my pig starting to smoke. When I got the 2f the compression number were good so I only did a HG job on it, big mistake. As my dad told me “if you’re gonna rebuild the top end, always do the bottom too”, but due to a lack of time I was pushing at the last minute (as always) to have her ready for SSS19. It only worsened when I got home.

Dad has been around the block a few times, eh?
I was amazed how much smarter my Dad got once I started listening to him...

Actually is doing okay right now but I have a nice flexlite electric fan/shroud on the way that should keep her a lot cooler. Jegs is being SLOW..

No fire wall mods, fits there with a ton of room, big hei dizzy is about 4” from the firewall

Well I thought about it but I put in the work adding 62 axles, cleaning, painting, plus I like the wider stance.

Tonight’s progress. Managed to get this thing painted and carpeted today with the help of the wife and Briggs, then she braided some real parachord in a cool design for my handle. The chord is from an expired parachute from the air base I work at. Those things have a shelf life and get thrown away once they are bad, pretty neat.

I have some carpet left over, I’ll probably put some in the bottom of the drawer to help keep stuff from banging around.

Thanks! I’ll let her know! I didn’t do any sliders on it, I may regret that once it’s loaded down lol plan was to a quick simple drawer build.
