I considered it but I had already swapped the 62 axles under the truck and I also just like the wider stance it gives.Why not a body swap on to the donor chassis? It's something like a dozen bolts.

I had a stout 2f but it’s no comparison to the small block. And yes, yes it too will spend the tires on pavement.Don’t listen to them brother - had every which stock tractor motor, stock swaps, diesel swaps ... love the growl of a small block. I have broken a lot more stuff, but can spin 35s on dry pavement
