I'm genuinely not trying to pick any fights here, but I think for many (like myself), the appeal of the 250 is that it's simply the best looking Land Cruiser in decades. Obviously, this is subjective, but the way a truck looks matters, and for as much as these things are more than just an appliance or tool, they should make us happy. My 2013 GX let me down, not because there was anything wrong with it, it just wasn't a great looking truck (to my eye). The 200 is -- again, to my eye -- an unexciting design. You can talk about "heft" or the sound a door or button makes or V8 vs 4cyl, etc. but there's something to be said for an exciting design that looks cool.Dare I say the 250 looks better? 300 carried over the bloat from the 200.
