LC Side steps on GX550? (1 Viewer)

I was able to source a set of 2025 Land Cruiser side steps that I hope to install on the wife's new GX550 OT+ which came with the OEM sliders. While the LC and the GX should be the same platform, first glance looks like the GX slider brackets are bolted to the frame rails (impressive!), but the side steps from the LC look like they mount in entirely different locations under the rockers. That, and the GX has a 2x3 rectangular plug (2 poles active) and the LC side steps have a much smaller 1x2-pole plug, presumably for a courtesy light. Just before I start unbolting stuff, anybody have any insight?
