I'm doing great. Wanna be the pot or the kettle? I'm all for dissenting opinions, pontificating over meaningless details or who's who of expo is tiring. Block me, it will be best for both of us ;)
Seriously, maybe you need some time off. You actually blew a gasket repeatedly on @Jetboy because he dared to insult the overland festival you hold dear. Now you’re fighting with others in the thread. Not a good look for a vendor to be fighting on the internet. And what does it say about you personally to pick a sad Bumfights character as your forum avatar. Those videos are actually pretty sick and wrong.

I'm too scared to like or dislike any of these posts.

Sort of back on topic: I'd bet money Chase wants more than a smile and a handshake for his allocation. In that case can we all agree that he can go F¢€& himself?

#triggered. Blow a gasket lol. Jetboy and I go way back (in this thread), he trusts nothing I say. I don’t hold the Overland Expo dear, it’s just one of dozens of events I go to each year. However I’ve actually been to said event so I feel qualified to discount his misinformation.

Re: Bumfights. The avatar was a gift, it used to be a .gif saying “I drive Cruisah”. It’s been there for 15? years and I’ve now had one person associate it with my character. You seem to know more about it than I do, how sad for your character :D

So dumb and not the first I’ve seen. Then again it worked well for many early Raptor, TRX and Bronco allocations for example… we’ve just not seen it in the Toyota realm to this degree. I don’t track much in the way of Toyota cars so perhaps this happened with the Supra but I don’t recall seeing it like this since the FJC launched and our local dealer literally would only let you test drive if you had pre-approved financing when they first launched. Production will eventually outpace demand and dealers will have stocked lots like the Pre-Covid days. They will be forced to change their SOP drastically change their pricing.

I mentioned this in a different/similar thread but I look forward to the day a potential buyer can walk into the dealer and see all trim levels and an array of colors side by side, all sans the “put money down” and reservation theatrics dealers are playing now.

Scamping again this weekend in Central Utah. Eventually we’ll build a pad/shop to just leave the trailer here but in the meantime then GX tows it faster than we should :D. Averaged 13.8mpg from Sandy to Helper.

For 15 years, I thought it was Leonard Smalls from Raising Arizona. 🤷‍♂️

Hey buddy. What did you think of it? We have one waiting to be shipped to US. 1958 model.
We of course were not able to drive it but we were able to crank it and all I can say is that it’s very quiet.
It’s a good looking vehicle with a very nice interior.

As ol' Brad Paisley says "You got to get a little mud on the tires."

Bruin Point, overlooking the San Rafael Swell and the Skyline Range on the far horizon. This thing is soooo damn smooth in the dirt.

Among the many cool features, the fact that “Toyota” illuminated when the door was opened, was perhaps the coolest. 😁

Congrats, looks great! Hey, I have a question, I apologize if it has been answered already, does it look like a 285/70 or a 35” tire will fit in the stock spare location?
Thanks! I don’t think it’s possible without cutting some brackets on either side of the spare. Even with that you’d be close to the panhard bar. I’ve seen one on IG with the new KO3 in LT275/70R18 - 33.2” according to BFG. They said it fit with not mods. I’m not sure a 34 would fit. I’ll try to drop the spare later this week and dig a little deeper.

There was an interesting dynamic happening yesterday during this event. While most of our club members and the dealership’s brass were inside admiring the new Land Cruiser, the bulk of the other employees were outside photographing the lineup of 70 Series. 😁
