Dare I say the 250 looks better? 300 carried over the bloat from the 200.
I'm genuinely not trying to pick any fights here, but I think for many (like myself), the appeal of the 250 is that it's simply the best looking Land Cruiser in decades. Obviously, this is subjective, but the way a truck looks matters, and for as much as these things are more than just an appliance or tool, they should make us happy. My 2013 GX let me down, not because there was anything wrong with it, it just wasn't a great looking truck (to my eye). The 200 is -- again, to my eye -- an unexciting design. You can talk about "heft" or the sound a door or button makes or V8 vs 4cyl, etc. but there's something to be said for an exciting design that looks cool.

But what do I know, I've got this absurdity in my driveway and I think it looks great:

The ground clearance on the 1958 is almost certainly less than the Toyota spec, given the 1958 has smaller tires than the LC Edition or the FE.
Yes, I agree. It's annoying that Toyota's specs don't note the differences. I took a number of clearance measurements in this thread. Maybe someone will post a LC premium and a FE measurement eventually.

I'll post my LC Premium if it ever gets taken off hold.

Thanks for sharing !

What are your opinions on the Trail dust color? Asking for a friend... lol

THX :)
I’m not familiar with all of the colors that are available on the 250 Series but to be honest, the Trail Dust probably wouldn’t be my first choice. Having said that, I think it would grow on you over time. 😊

I think they all look great, but I personally love the curves on my 2020 200, especially the front and profile views. I think the 250/550/300/600 have a slimmer, nicer rear view, but I wouldn’t trade the split tailgate for that.

I also love the center valley on the 200’s hood. Seeing the reflection of trees going by in that hood with the warm resonance of that V8 is something I love about that truck.

From reddit:

One 250 (looks like maybe it was a FE?) has already been totalled in a collision:

Apparently the other vehicle was a semi, which is probably the only vehicle that makes sense considering it appears the front end was peeled off like a bean can.

Looks like they can save that plastic wheel arch trim.

Why would you want to neuter a Landcruiser and make it look like a crossover? Just get an X5.
Just trying to understand what youre saying...putting aftermarket wheels on a Cruiser makes it look like a crossover? The best looking 200s I've seen have aftermarket wheels and upsized tires.

It looked to me as if the car had downsized tires, but I just realized that the 250 is a bit of a low-rider and that is the way it comes stock.

Ah, got it!
