Started tearing down the doors for rebuild. Couple pounds of red sand in each door. Lots of busted bolts, but doors are solid with only minor surface rust.

You getting firewood to weight the springs down to break them in? I know Maricopa county "NO BURN" days is about 99.9% of the days in a year. Even Flagstaff has no burn days now. Probably head up north and cut some more oak. Coconino National Forest it's $20 four cords of hard wood. Want to burn pine it's $20 for eight cords. What National Forest are you cutting firewood. Don't believe firewood cutting is allowed on State Trust Land?
Come on down to your neighbors here in Texas and I’ll send you home with flat springs and some quality hard live oak. Then, come on up to your neighbors in NM and I’ll send you back with a truckload of aspen to clean your chimney with afterwards.

Just say the word (and help me find my missing bellhousing cover)…

Oak, Ponderosa Pine, Pinion, Juniper and Aspen are all available in Coconino National Forest. While rarer Maple can be found as well.

I answered you PM about the bellhousing cover.

There and at all the other common spots.....lol

I hacked off the tailpipe a couple weeks ago. Since I removed a mount, I added a hose clamp to temporarily hold the remaining tailpipe. Tonight, I recut the pipe and added the proper hanger. It's not the prettiest thing, but it's functional......and that's all it needs to be.
