^^^ ThisHaving new hardware on hand and treating it as a consumable may not be a bad idea.
That makes sense bro. I forgot that with the 17s you’re technically running less tire (sidewall) vs the 16s so that’s your 3lb weight saving per tire.I posted the weights a page back. OEM = 21 lbs, KMC Mesa Forged = 31 lbs w/ ring and hardware.
But I should be saving about 3 lbs by moving from 315/75r16 to 35x12.5r17 - for a total of +7 lbs per corner. Not the worst
Wow those look good! Any other angles to show how flush they sit? Do they poke out at all or no?

I know you’ve had beadlocks before, are they highway friendly? All the good spots I visit or want to visit are like 500-1,500 miles away so it’s always a trip to get out somewhere.
Im patiently waiting to see pics of these mounted on your truck.
They're flush with the fenders - no poke reallyWow those look good! Any other angles to show how flush they sit? Do they poke out at all or no?
I second ARB, no regretsCould swap out the 3L radius arms for just the 3s if you really want to keep the OEM look and are cool with giving up the upgrade path to 37s. Hard to beat the classic look of an ARB bull bar on an 80 though IMO.
This! Such a classic look with the arb.
I like bumpers that flow with the design on modern cars but part of the reason why I like the ARB on an 80 is I feel like it kind of squares up an otherwise bubble/round design. personal opinion of courseWith so many better options that flow with the lines I just can't see why anyone goes arb anymore.
If I was going for function primarily I think I'd go with a Dissent.I have an unpopular opinion here, too, but I'm with @Dusten. The ARB bumpers are antiquated (but straightforward and that ain't always bad) and do not flow well with the 80s lines. I have the Delta VS bumper, but I'm sure some can't stand them.
