For 2 days now the hardest thing to find at the grocery store is a shopping cart.

FYI - something I never thought of since I've always just been able to leave town until utilities are back on...5 gallon buckets of water to use to flush toilets. Assuming the sewer system isn't overloaded, of course. Garbage bags to line the empty bowl, if it is!

yeah, growing up at the coast we always filled up the bathtub so we could flush the toilet if no water. Only once did we actually need to and only for a day or so.
 
Wasn't me, but I did fill a total of six 20L NATO cans in Lancaster at lunch today - Duke drops power on me on a normal thunderstorm ....
 
Benefit of having lots of vehicles and only 2 drivers - you don't get the stink eye at the gas station like Sam the guys filling up a bunch of cans do.

I just hope I don't have to run most of it through the chainsaw.
 
I got the stink eye for sure ... diesel truck pumping regular unleaded into cans .... then folks realized I was buying generator fuel :doh:

Part of my prep has been making sure I can find all my rigging and that the PTO winch is working on the 77.

This is sad - this is not what Christianity is all about. Do you think Jesus would do this? No - and that is the problem.

A) i was out helping lil old ladies
B) it was in a beer garden
C) when the stores run out of water and bread how else do you hydrate and get your carbs ..... multi taskin buddy.
 
I think it was because of all the people shooting guns at Florence, and most importantly, playing Nickelback and Creed with speakers facing southeast. It has caused Aunt Flo to stay away!!!
