I spent the day taking about 200 cases of water to Laurinburg in one of our dump trucks from work. We have a sister community there with no water. The damage really picked up once I got to Scotland county, I couldn’t imagine what it’s like in the harder hit areas.
You could’ve said hello to my peeps at the Scotia Retirement country Club. Lol.

Made it into Jacksonville today. That route in shut down behind me but another is open. If anyone needs more info, let me know.
Some friends of ours that live in Wilmington made it back to their home this morning. Their route was Goldboro to Jacksonville to Wilmington.
Yep, 111 from Goldsboro to Beulaville and 24E. Trying to come west of Beulaville is reported to still be flooded.
Beautiful sunrise over Jacksonville. 
A LOT of traffic headed back south via Hwy 70 to Kinston and down 258 to Jacksonville. Nice clear route except for traffic. From there I am hearing 17 is clear to Wilmington. Fuel is harder to come by the closer you get to the coast. I did not see any water on the roads around today, but I think it all drained west as there is more flooding shutting down other routes. Other roads that have been undermined are starting to show their failures.
Don’t attempt any route that involves I40 past I95. I had several contacts that got bad info that they could get through and then called me saying the roads were flooded and couldn’t get to me.
