Yeah, I know. After Matthew, I scrambled to try to move a bunch of our people from Goldsboro to Fayetteville, but the company decided at the last minute to cancel that move. Eventually they also decided to close our facility in Goldsboro, due to such severe damage. Water was 3 ft deep above the raised flooring. was a smelly, nasty, stinky mess. I convinced my boss to write off about 1 million worth of our hardware, because of the risk of biohazards inside it from the mold and bacterial crap.
Sure wish I lived in the city.
We seem to have survived. No structural damage to the house or vehicles. We never lost power or radio. We did loose Cell service and cable. This morning we were told to expect another 9" of rain. The Lower Little River is about 3 miles from our house. It is expected to crest Monday morning...6' higher than during Matthew. Manatory evacuations for everyone within a mile of the river.
How’s everyone holding up? If anyone has tree damage or needs help please post up and ask. We’ll have hurricane modification of ONSC Hamoms
There doesn’t need to be a natural disaster for those douche-nozzles to grace us with their presence on the roads
