After the take out, we split ways and I headed for the Redwoods. Poached some photos and a quick walk down a trail without any park pass. From there, drove down to Eureka and stayed the night at a hotel.
Wow that looks like a great time, I don’t think I’d be shooting those rapids though…

This was the big boy. It’s called Blossom Bar. It’s a Class IV that requires several critical moves to negotiate.
Those boulders don’t look like they have a lot of give either, just one man’s observation.

Clean-up. Stinking invasives… bush honeysuckle and black locusts (natives and the kind of trees that the Old boys made fence posts from). For some reason, our property sprouts them like crazy. Great trees actually, they’ll just go out of control if not dealt with early.
