Looks a little ugly, but once its cleaned up and coated, it will look nice. Now with this all back together, we can move forward.

All done. I sand blasted it after I was done, which we do to everything thats rusty. Spenser is rebuilding the floor while I was working on this. Then he will reattach this to the floor.

A pillars and rockers are tacked on now. We have been moving our way from the front to back. We test fit the next panels as we move forward, and so far everything is fitting perfectly.

Rear inner fenders are tacked on now also, and that step really strengthened the body, as it was a flimsy mess for a while there. There was one patch (in photos below) needed before the inners

could be installed. We had to remove it from the rotisserie for a week because there was no longer anywhere to attach it.

Rear piece over the back doors. This was another wasted rusty part. It holds a striker for the doors and the gutter. The rectangular cutout is where I cut it to remove the part. It is not supposed to be there.

Art work 😍

You find any fun stuff in the body?

On Tony’s we found a well used shaving razor, several pad locks, a very crusty tooth brush, many pens and all kinds of other things. I think the Latinas phone number was the best find! 😂

Cheers

Didn’t find anything interesting, unfortunately. I love finding a time-capsule of nonsense from the 80’s in the bottom of a quarter or under carpet. There was a lot of dirt from inside the rockers. Hopefully we don’t get some different strain of South American Valley Fever from it!

Wow that is amazing work , how many hours are you expecting to have in this by the time it’s done ?
