I am not so sure, I had a buddy with a welded centre and it kept breaking till I welded the side and spider gears together then got some 5/8 bar to go as filler between the gear teeth and welded that to the gears.

looked like a right mess, but it held up

This is my plan. Get as much crap in there as possible while still being able to get the center pin and c-clips out. Weld the side gears and spiders to the carrier, weld them to each other, and throw some scrap in there to fill some gaps.

Check out the monster buggy on pirate...that's how you weld a dif, LOL!
If you can't find it, let me know & I'll dig up the link.

Just buy a arb and when you get your next axle sell it to me for half your cost. I need all the help I can get.

Absolutely nothing new to report on the Cruiser. I did pull it out front to jump start my Dodge. (diff cover still off, left a small trail of gear oil but not bad :D )

I did however just get in from FINALLY converting my bender to hydro. Had a Pro tools HD 105 for a few years and have had all the hydro stuff for at least 2 yrs. Amongst a few of my rain days from work, I got a stand built. I just finished the wiring and topping off the reservoir. I'm in the middle of bleeding the system but I already bent a piece of 1.25 just to see. :D

Got the valve mounted for use as a foot control. Threw a 2 gang box on the side with a couple of receptacles so it can be independently used with the notcher, angle grinders and what ever else and just need 1 cord run out. Still a couple of finishing touches but it's ready to bend. :bounce: :bounce2:

The fan cover is off because the fan is cracked and was hitting the cover at first. Should be able to get a replacement pretty easily.

Hopefully on my next rain day I can start throwing some bumpers together.

some dingleberry left the dome light on overnight. :bang:

I've never done that .

He's good. Sleeping better now, and hopfully that will continue to improve. No.1 is fully in the 2/3yo mode. But still lots of fun. Are you going to try for No.3?

 Our 2nd just turned 2 last weekend. We never put much stock in the whole terrible 2s thing but she is definately pushing the limits. We'll just say the wife and I are nipping that in the bud real quick.

I'm good with my 2 kiddos but the wife keeps going back and forth.

Ive left the dome light on in my dodge over night with no problems. Sounds like your batteries are loosing it. That bender looks great.

Every third child born in the world is Chinese. You already have two non-chinese children so do you really want run the chance of having to learn a different language by having the third?
