FJ43 NOS Soft Top

Just got this offered.

It's an original FJ43 Soft Top without bows, came new with the truck but was never installed, instead a hardtop was installed.

Don't have the need for it, but is this the real deal?

Do they make mid wheel base tops is the question. The lack of an original canvas replacement for the FJ25 and early FJ40 FST has been a issue for many years. Few non original have show up over the years and even those have been spotty. Believe Julie (Dirt Road Top) making some but lost the patterns. Standard FJ40 have a few options. Unlike the FJ25 and early FJ40 no mid wheel base 40 series was ever imported by Toyota to North America. Columbia seems to be the closest country to have any mid wheel base imported in any numbers. Out of country probably best option but those leave little legal recourse if you have problems.

Bit off topic but I would import a bj43 just so I could install that top if I had it. That's incredible!
