I think beyond that we've got it covered to the Pacific Coast - just need to get into Texas.
I'd be happy to step in, but I've been garaged for over a month and a half waiting for a carb from @Trollhole. If it shows up in time I can cover a portion of east Texas.

Perfect. Now we need someone to fill the gap from Arkansas (somewhere in Hot Springs or north of there) to you guys in Texas. At the moment I will have both batons coming from Memphis to Arkansas. Most likely the first or second weekend in December.

Gary, Save yourself a trip to Henegar, just add that antique forge token to the briefcase. :hmm:
I would love to do that, but it's pretty big, and weighs a ton---can't get the file to upload-maybe stick it in the gallery?

Just waiting, biding my time, for when the plans come to the Oregon area. I'm in the Albany area, next door to I-5.

Sure, this works for me - and last I heard, Erik should be fine as well. Huge kudos to @sggoat for making the trek from South Florida to Atlanta! It's a real shame the 12th doesn't work, @ErikinSC and I could've met @mel lowe in Gainesville for the South Carolina vs. Florida game... Anyhow, this gives us 2 weeks to get the baton over to Deo. No problem, we can work it out with him.

So many great places to meet up between here and there. Just throwing out a few possibilities.

I'm about 15 minutes from Jekyll Island and would love to meet up and get some pictures. There are lots of great places to take photos there and it's pretty isolated this time of year. Once the date is finalized I can make part of the trip on Hwy.17.

West coast here, patiently waiting my turn :bounce2:

Sunbury looks nice( or Fort Morris) but way off my tentative route--Still trying to figure how I'm going to make >700 mi. on this leg--need a week and all the gas coupon donations I can find---
Also, I think there was a cruiser mechanic registry published in MUD a while back that had a listing of reliable shops to do work on the 40s, but it was more regional than local. If anyone has recommendations for shops that could help in an emergency, please post. The route I'm thinking of is US 27 out of So.W Fla. to St. Augustine(jumping over to the "Space Coast" somewhere North of Lake Okechobee) to US 1, up through Satellite Beach and on to St. Aug. From there, heading NE to Mentone/Ft. Payne/Henegar Al.(Prob coming through Rome, Ga.)

@sggoat @ErikinSC @CharlestonG8R

For clarity:

Erik/ CGator is passing the baton to me somewhere between SC and Se GA/ N Florida, and then I am passing it to sggoat somewhere in N FLa?

Dates?

Sweet....I'll pick up the @sggoat in Rome, GA, or somewhere along that route. Then we'll venture over to Lickskillet & Henegar, AL to meet up with @Tennessee80 and see what's happening.

Heard! For some reason, I am imagining there to be some damn good food in Lickskillet, LOL

Yes as I understand it. I just have to confirm the 12th.

I can't speak for @sggoat
Deo, as long as Erik can meet with @Booch the weekend of the 12th, Erik and I can bring the baton down the weekend of the 19th. If the 12th doesn't end up working for them, we will have to get creative...

My schedule is flexible, so no worries on this end.

Awesome! Now we just need @Booch to meet us before the 19th.

So Gunner or Jordan can ride with me, Trina can ride with you?
