Piece of cake..

Dan, you can do that sleeping ;)

Drop it off with FC. Guarantee you will have the best looking & functional headache rack in the west:cool:

I already have an appointment with him on a few other things. :D

Perfect, add a headache rack to his list! I wish I was closer, his work is by far the best I have seen on any cruiser. The immagination & detail on a couple of 55's (a customers & his own personal pig) he has done on Pirate is pure art. You sir are lucky to have the access to pay him to work on your cruiser:D

Drove it to the office today and around town to run a few errands.

It is so hard to pace traffic when they all drive next to you and stare. LOL

Here is how the gauges look while doing 68mph.

Top pic is flat road

Bottom pic is going over and overpass.

It's a 1 1/2 or 2 hour drive from my house.

I'm 11 1/2 hours into our trip and still not in Cali.
How often do people get to see 2 bastardized fj45 x-tra cabs at the same event. Get your booty down there bro.

ultra fresh .. ultra low EGT at low boost .. and excelent oil press .. looks lie you have plenty of more room for fuel .. :D

I will have a little treat in my baggage to cool her down too ;)

But Dan will have to wait until we get back from Alaska to fit that.

We'll have ductape.. Install on the trail :D

I have the EGT probe in the back exhuast downpipe since it is the hottest part of the exhaust.

My air filter is not big enough or I have too big of Turbo on it. (Lol). My little dirty filter monitor slams shut when i stand on the gas pedal to pass someone. Turbo boost goes to 23lbs when i do it as well.

The hottest the engine got was 180 degrees F.

means post turbo .. ?

Diferent engine .. but I cruiser my 1HD-T around 700 - 800ºF pre turbo pushing 9 - 10 PSI @ 2000 - 2200 rpm

Well if it spools up quick enough for you then id say it isnt an issue of turbo being to big but more of not enough air flow.

and im with Tapage, I have my EGT probe At the collector pre turbo so i know what the temp of the gasses coming out of the cylinders is to help prevent a meltdown. mine needs a bigger turbo, Ive had the EGTs in the 2200*F once or twice, and it gets there quick!:bang: the plus side it it hauls some A$$!!

And wouldnt the down pipe post turbo be cooler than pre turbo??
could be wrong, guess tomorrow i can get my infrared thermometer and find out to be sure.:meh:
