As far as I got unboxing tonight.

UPS had to modify one, but in the famous words of CDan "Cut to fit, bend to match." Haha.

Fronts pulled and ready in OKC.

Body panels are coming together.

They look better than before but not as nice looking as brand spanking Aichi new!

;)

You know, Toyota may have been onto something when thinking about vehicle longevity at the hands of an irresponsible owner.

Hear me out.

Guy that doesn't maintain knuckle seals probably doesn't give a crap about maintaining the undercarriage, so they planned a slow, prolonged failure of seals, to supply a generous dosing of Birf spooge to the entire belly.

The PP80s a perfect example.

It's only because of a constant knuckle filling, yet never addressing the seals that she's a relatively rust free belly...except for the 555s which are new.....

Bahahaha

Does tie rod assy include both ends?

Hey, Pablo.

You still have extra balls?

You know, the little bitty balls that like to pop out when you least expect it?

Hahaha.

Need one, maybe two, depending on my patience level in 100 degree heat.

For the Aisin lock-out dials?
Your search skills are strong!
Been a while since I posted that...
Yes, I believe I still do. Just need to remember where!
PM me your address.

Yes, I thought you were going 60 series PS as well?

No, leaving.

I can deal without PS on this and keeping it clean and simple, like it came.

Be a good workout if nothing else even though forearms and hand grip strength has never been an area of concern.

For the Aisin lock-out dials?

Yes. In the millisecond after the first I remembered reading about losing balls.

I'm not sure the second even had.

Will forward address and still haven't seen yours, but can wait until you send other stuff, if preferred.

Would like to have all mechanical/drivetrain parts accumulated by mid-August, so plenty of time.

yes, ends are included...

I PM'd instead of email, requesting clarification on this matter.

Many thanks, by the way.

personally, i would upgrade to PS and get rid of that nasty center link.

Next one, Wayne. I swear.

Trying to keep it OE on this one and after a little seat time with properly inflated tires, I did t feel that there was that much difference in rolling steering than what it's like driving my 80 with 37x12.5s and a 105 gearbox, or the FJC.

I was pleasantly surprised at the ease, all things considered and this Pig's sty may not see many rocks.

The next "build" will be a morphed wheeler and, odds are, wrapped in a Pig carcass.

For that, PS will be a requirement, if not hydro.

well, as discussed in the email, the cross link part number
45460A ROD ASSY, TIE
45460-69135 1 $412.69
has the ends included and will work from arm to arm.
the other part number i posted comes with the ends but is too long ... i think ... for your application. it is for the 60 PS box, now, IF you can give me a measurement of the existing arm to crosslink hole then i can go measure what i have in the garage ...
in the pic you can also see the difference in strength between the 70 series arms and the 40/55 series ...
this is a 42 series axle.
hopes this helps.
