F135 water pump bolt holes (1 Viewer)

Does anybody know if all 4 bolts holes for the water pump are through holes into the coolant passage? The top driver side on mine snapped and need to know how to drill through before re-tapping.

no , they do not enter the coolant passages ....


remember the 1962-12/74 F and F1.5 Water Pump Bolts are SHORTER then a 2F ....

Instead of drilling and an easy out, weld a nut to what is left of the bolt. The heat from welding will help break the grip and a socket or wrench on the nut are easier go turn.

Curious why you have referenced this as a F135 engine? Both the PCV on the side cover and the oil filler tube are late F145 components.

Because I’m ill informed! According to the previous owner it was a real bastardized motor.
