Any sources for the square plug that goes in the bellhousing. This is the timing hole with a pointer inside to see flywheel. I can't imagine that a plug was not standard. Invites mice to get in and build nests and ruin the pressure plate.

I don’t believe there is a plug, or a cover for that hole.
Got any 3d printer friends? Maybe some sort of silicon mold gel that is air cured and use modeling clay to make the pattern.

maybe the timing pointer provides just enough of a barrier. I got a plug from a 235 Chevrolet which is what the Japanese based the engine off of but it is not a good fit. Too small.

Timing window cover?
I saw a couple of posts where there was a cover over the timing window in a 2F. Is this something I am missing? If so, is it something I need to correct?
