I have been trying to find a later model steering wheel, PM and we'll set it up.

Oh I've got a late model wheel that would certainly challenge your skills

I received my steering wheel back from Birdhead in great condition. Sorry about the crappy phone pic. The wheel had a rather large crack through the hub that he was able to fill. The cerakote and the clear coat is a very close match.

I've got a 71 - steering wheel is pretty good - but it has some of the cracks you'd expect to see. The button is in good shape. Tried to send a PM but site said your inbox is full. Let me know if you're still doing these!

Impressive! Can you rebuild the horn button on a '72 if some of the parts are missing? Just wondering if you can source the needed parts to deliver a fully refurbished wheel.

Sent my 65 FJ45 steering wheel to Birdman (aka Jimmy). Not only is he a great guy but did a damn fine job on my steering wheel, bringing it back from the dead. Would not hesitate sending him another wheel. Thx, Jimmy!
